Music school for kids

MUSIC PRODUCTION.

Modern technology finally gave us the means to create any kind of music with nothing but a computer. Today’s software not only allows us to make music, it develops our logical thinking and helps us better understand the world around us. 

We will teach your kids to analyze their favorite music, reproduce it, and, as a result, learn to produce their own. 

Apart from being a hobby, that can turn into a profession along the way, this is a great pastime, that reflects positively intellectual properties, personality development, awakens creativity and desire to learn about the world around us.

During the course, that is designed like a game, we will learn:

• Musical instruments and genre history

• Patterns behind rhythms, harmonies and melodies

• Basic physics, using fun and exciting examples

• Electronics 101

• Software engineering

• Sound design

• Live performances

• Professional music production software: Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase Pro, FL Studio

 

The course consists of 80 forty minute lessons two times a week for 10 months (also on summer holidays). 

Upon completing the course, your kid will:

• Know the notes and basic musical theory

• Be proficient with sound recording gear

• Know how musical instruments and our perception of sound works

• Knows music production software and basic programming

• Be able to create and perform his or her own music

After completing the course, all students will get a certificate.

Intensity, content and lesson schedule can be altered a bit to fit the personal needs and abilities of any student. We are always willing to offer tuition discounts to talented kids showing interest and promise in musical field. 

 

Lessons are held individually, but they are not limited to meetings at school. The student will have to do a good part of work at home while communicating and receiving feedback from the tutor by email or skype.

Even though most of the lessons are held individually, we are big supporters of group work. That is why there are regular workshops and masterclasses, where kids will be able to meet, interact and learn to cooperate and create music together.
